The CSW ultrasonic water meter measures flow by comparing the travel time of sound pulses moving with and against the water. There is no impeller, no gear train and no obstruction in the flow path, so the meter keeps its accuracy in service and tolerates dirty water that would foul a mechanical meter.
It is the standard choice for apartment blocks, dormitories and property sub-metering projects where the buyer wants measured consumption rather than estimated consumption, and wants it without sending a reader into every unit.
