Product overview

The LXS family is Chenshuo’s rotary (multi-jet) mechanical water meter for residential and light commercial service. Water drives an impeller inside a measuring chamber, and the movement drives a sealed counter — no battery, no electronics, no communications to maintain. It is the standard answer when a project needs thousands of meters at the lowest unit cost.

Six housing and dial variants cover the common installation cases: dry dial for easy reading, liquid-sealed for dirty water, plastic shell for budget programmes, stainless steel for aggressive water or hygiene requirements, and a vertical version for riser installations.

Standards compliant

Built to GB/T 778.1-5-2018 and verified to JJG 162-2019; plastic-shell models follow China's technical specification for plastic housings.

Which housing material should I specify?

Brass is the general-purpose choice; engineering plastic for budget programmes; stainless steel for aggressive water or hygiene requirements. Chenshuo can advise against your water analysis.

Can it be read remotely?

Not by itself. Add a pulse output (dry-reed or Hall) on request and connect it to a data collector or a remote meter, or choose an LXSY / NB-IoT model instead.

Hot water or cold water?

Both are covered by the standard; the temperature limit for the model you order must be confirmed with Chenshuo.

Is a check valve included?

Only on request. State it on the order if backflow protection is required.
